Micro Harvest™ provides agronomic support to growers across Australia. Our agronomists support growers in developing and expanding their enterprises with a science-based approach.
As part of our consultative agronomy package, Micro Harvest™ works closely with clients to conduct site assessments, develop cropping plans, and perform regular crop monitoring, which allows the appropriate response to any issues arising during the season.
• Provide initial site assessment and advice on the mix of crops suitable for the property.
• Support the establishment of the crop.
• To monitor crop growing and provide advice on fertilizer usage, irrigation and insect control measures.
• Undertake a technical service as requested – soil, water, leaf and sap analysis.
• To be involved in an annual planning and season review.
• Challenge the enterprise manager with new ideas and opportunities.
A flat rate (retainer) per year as per a standard service agreement, plus extra for additional services, based on time. Clients are charged quarterly based on desired level of service. This option is recommended for clients utilising greater than 10 hours per year.
For clients requiring ad-hoc service. The type of service determines the rate. Contract arrangements are formalised with a service agreement, which lists costs and expectations. By entering into a service plan on a contractual basis, we can assure a timely service. Calls for service in-season on an ad-hoc basis cannot be provided with the same timeliness, however all attempts will be made to provide prompt service.
Protected cropping is a technology based investment, the higher the level of technology used, the greater potential for achieving optimum growing conditions.
This level of control is strongly related to the productivity and health of the seedlings supplied, and ultimately sets the grower up for a good season.
