ABOUT

About Us

Micro Harvest was established in July 2018 with a core objective to set a new gold standard in seedling production. Micro Harvest is a high-health, high-tech vertical nursery, based on the Sunshine Coast in QLD. We propagate seedlings for farmers and genetic owners indoors and provide agronomic support services to growers across Australia.

Our advanced production systems matched with new propagation techniques enable unique benefits to our clients.

Our fully enclosed, climate-controlled environments mean we are not at the mercy of seasonality and weather variability, which currently impacts traditional glasshouse propagation facilities.

We tailor growing conditions by plant species, and our growth cycles are predictable and dependable. Growth parameters are dialed in closely giving us year round production – seasonal access is now a thing of the past. Contact Us.

Stephen Andrews - Micro Harvest

Stephen Andrews

Stephen Andrews is a business strategist and founder of Micro Harvest. Stephen holds a bachelor of commerce (BComm).

During his career in the production nursery industry he has developed a passion to set a new gold standard in seedling production, focusing on reducing input risk to critical supply chains.

He believes there is a fundamental flaw in the way the industry currently produces seedlings for growers – with the constant lament being “you start with a problem, you end with a problem”.

His ethos is to push the envelope in propagation by synergising conventional glasshouse production methods with the latest Agtech advancements.
